American brand, J. Crew, started out as a low – priced clothing and accessories retailer. That changed in 2003 when the company hired Millard “Mickey” Drexler as Chief Executive. Drexler repositioned the brand to the upscale dressy shop we are so familiarly fond of. Sadly, the declining physical retail sales numbers suggest technology is responsible.

In the book, “When I am Afraid” , Author Edward Welch explains,
You will trust in something or someone; that’s part of being human…. Trust in things that are untrustworthy, and you are trusting in quicksand.
This is not to say you cannot feel discouragement or disappointment, but at some point we have to learn to let it go.
